1. What is Mini-pleat technology?
Unlike traditional filters that use aluminum walls to separate paper folds, Mini-pleat technology uses hot melt lines to shape the space between paper folds. This helps:
- Increase filter area: With the same frame size, Mini-pleat filter has 2-3 times larger filter material area.
- Low Pressure Drop: Air flows through more easily, helping the fan not have to work too hard.
- Energy saving: Reduce energy consumption for HVAC systems by 15-20%.
2. Application at VAF
Currently, VAF's key product lines include: Ultracel II (HEPA) and V-Dura (V-Bank) are all produced using this technology. Uniform, unbroken glue lines help ensure stable filtration performance throughout the product life cycle.
