Fan Filter Unit (FFU) is a device that integrates a fan and a HEPA filter in a single module, installed directly on the clean room ceiling.
1. Structure of FFU VAF
- Box: Made of powder-coated galvanized steel or 304 stainless steel, durable to the environment.
- Fan: Use AC or EC motor (energy saving), low noise, long life > 50,000 hours.
- Filter: Integrated HEPA H13/H14 or ULPA U15 depending on cleanliness requirements.
- Controller: Can adjust 3 wind levels or centrally control via computer.
2. Why choose FFU instead of central AHU?
FFU is especially suitable for large electronics factories (such as Samsung, Intel) because of its properties flexible. When you need to upgrade the cleanliness from Class 10,000 to Class 1,000, you only need to install an additional number of FFUs on the Ceiling Grid without having to change the entire complex duct system.
