No matter how good a HEPA filter is, if it leaks even a small hole the size of a pinhead, it is considered thrown away. That's why at VAF, the process Leak Test (Leak Test) is 100% mandatory.
1. Automatic Scan Test method
VAF uses an automatic Scan Test machine according to EN 1822 standards. The machine will spray aerosol dust particles (Aerosol) into the front of the filter, and the probe (Probe) will move continuously on the back to measure the concentration of particles passing through.
2. Qualification criteria
If at any point on the filter surface, the particle concentration exceeds the allowable level (for example > 0.01% for H14), the machine will report an error and mark that location. The filter will be discarded or reprocessed. Only filters that pass this test will be stamped with quality stamps and packaged at the factory.
