1. EN 1822 standard
According to European standard EN 1822, the difference lies in the filtration efficiency of most elusive particles (MPPS):

2. Practical application
- Use H13 when: Regular industrial clean rooms, minor surgery rooms, clean hallways, high-class offices.
- Use H14 when: Organ transplant operating room (requires absolute sterility), semiconductor chip factory (Class 1 - Class 100), pharmaceutical preparation room, biosafety level 3 room.
